Queens University - Maintenance on the Wifi network – Maintenance details

Maintenance on the Wifi network on Tuesday 10th February.

We will be carrying out maintenance on the Wifi network on Tuesday morning, 10th February. The Wifi network should be considered unavailable between 07:00 and 07.30. Between 07.30 and 09.00 we will be assessing the impact of the change, which is to enable the 6Ghz Band on those access points where it is available. There may be a side effect to this change where some older/legacy devices may encounter wifi access problems. If feedback is positive by 09.00am, we will retain the change; if, however, we find many devices impacted by the introduction of 6Ghz, we will regress to the previous configuration
